Gosh, it’s been a while since the last time I scribbled my thoughts here. Did I pass out again? Hhhmmm… not really. I just had a very crazy and busy 2 weeks.
Why?
First of all, due to cost cutting or so they said, I don’t have an internet connection in the office. Hence, my blogging has to wait when I reach home. And when I’m home I got a gazillion things to do. Sad *sigh*… I know.
Secondly, we just celebrated the big Eid or commonly known as Eid Al Adha. It was a 4 day holiday and we certainly spent it the best way we know how – ROAD TRIP to anywhere… everywhere! As what they say, so many places to go and things to do but with so little time heheheh. How we celebrated the long weekend? Well, we went for a swim in Jumeirah beach then hanged out in my bro’s crib in JLT afterwards. Shop ’til we drop in Ikea (well, we only bought 4 or 5 things LOL). Went on a romantic dhow cruise dinner in Abu Dhabi corniche. Had a meet and greet with Leene’s kababayan in Creek Park, Dubai. Went shopping AGAIN in Outlet Mall (this is our nth time LOL). And our finale was the visit in Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Regardless of your religion, all women who wished to enter the mosque has to adhere to the prescribed dress code. In short, we wore the Hijab and we looked stunning in it HA HA HA.
Last but certainly not the least memorable thing I did was doing the laundry. It was memorable because the height of our clothes was more or less the same height of Mt. Everest LOL. You think I’m kidding? Of course not! It took me almost the entire day to finish it. I hope and pray that it will never happen again HA HA HA.
Anyway, I will post the photos of our Eid celebration in my next blogs. For now, this will have to do because I’m very sleep and I need to wake up early tomorrow. Thank goodness tomorrow is Thursday… I smell weekend!!!
